Basketball Recap: Lead Hill Skates Past Advanced Studies with Ease

Lead Hill entered their tilt with Advanced Studies on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took their game with ease, bagging a 73-18 win over Advanced Studies. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-14.

Lead Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Coda Lemon out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. That's the most points Lemon has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Dawson Lively, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points in addition to six assists and four steals.

Lead Hill was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now racked up at least 22 assists in three consecutive contests.

Lead Hill pushed their record up to 20-12 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Advanced Studies, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Lead Hill has already played their next game, a 93-48 victory against Founders Classical Academy on the 24th. As for Advanced Studies, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-21 defeat against Jasper on the 24th.
