Basketball Recap: Pescadero's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Pescadero can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They managed a 50-45 victory over the Kirby Prep Griffins. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Griffins, too.

Several Griffins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chris Lively, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Chris Pierce, who earned 12 points.

The win got Pescadero back to even at 1-1.

Pescadero has already played their next game, a 45-18 defeat against Contra Costa Christian on the 7th. As for Kirby Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 34-26 loss against Pacific Bay Christian on the 6th.
