Soccer Recap: Brewer Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pennington last Friday, Brewer came back down to earth. The Patriots fell 3-1 to the West Point Warriors on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Point this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Brewer's goal came courtesy of Aubrie Irmen, who's now up to nine this season.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 7-7. As for West Point, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5-2.

Coincidentally, Brewer and West Point will both be playing Fairview the next time they take the pitch. The Warriors will head out to face the Aggies at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Patriots will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
