Basketball Recap: Loveland Classical Lions vs. STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans        
        
		
             There's no place like home for Loveland Classical, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Tuesday. They took their  match  on Thursday with ease, bagging  a  51-9 victory over the STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans. With the Lions ahead  37-7 at the half, the  game was all but over already.
 Loveland Classical's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Keira Doan, who  went 5 for 11 en route to 12 points plus five  steals. Doan is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last five games she's  played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Abigal Ruppert, who  posted nine points in addition to seven  steals.
 When it comes to explaining why STEM School Highlands Ranch lost, don't look at  Elizabeth Hagemann. Despite the final result, she  posted five points plus seven  rebounds and four  steals.  Morgan Hamm was another key player,  posting two points plus five  rebounds and three  steals.
 The  victory  got Loveland Classical back to even at 1-1.
 Loveland Classical has already played their next matchup,  a  28-18  win against Twin Peaks Charter Academy on the 6th. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  31-22  defeat against Liberty Tree Academy on the 6th.
