Basketball Recap: Cardinal Gibbons Piles Up the Points Against Enloe

Cardinal Gibbons won the last time they faced Enloe and things went their way on Friday too. The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders really took it to the Enloe Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-23 win. With the Crusaders ahead 31-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Cardinal Gibbons got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Charlotte Fusco out in front who posted 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. What's more, Fusco also racked up four assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Miller Kuss was another key player, putting up eight points and five steals.

Cardinal Gibbons was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Cardinal Gibbons has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Enloe, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
