Rangely lost against Plateau Valley back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cowboys. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Rangely started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-12, 25-13, 25-19.

Addison Scott paced Rangely's offense, picking up nine kills. Scott got some help from Isabella Cox and her nine assists. Cox was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Rangely now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Plateau Valley, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1.

Rangely has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Cedaredge on the 25th. As for Plateau Valley, after both having extra time off, they and Soroco will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
