It was a good run, but Rangely unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Plateau Valley Cowboys. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cowboys this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Rangely started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-12, 25-13, 25-19.

Rangely now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Plateau Valley, they pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Rangely will challenge Cedaredge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Plateau Valley, after both having extra time off, they and Soroco will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
