Kirtland Central has gone a perfect 10-0 against Shiprock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Broncos will take on the Chieftains at 11:00 a.m. Kirtland Central will be strutting in after a win while Shiprock will be coming in after a defeat.

Kirtland Central came out on top against Miyamura on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Broncos took their contest against the Patriots 6-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Tamirra Chee was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Tanisha Thomas was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Shiprock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 23-6 to Aztec.

Shiprock's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Kirtland Central, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.

Kirtland Central took their win against Shiprock in their previous matchup on April 1st by a conclusive 14-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
