Softball Recap: Miller Buccaneers vs. Carroll Tigers
Miller was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Carroll Tigers, falling 13-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 26-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2020.
Miller saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Cantu, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.
Miller's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Carroll, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

As for Carroll, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Ray at 5:30 p.m. Carroll's pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so Ray's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
