Football Recap: Glendale Prep Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Highland Prep West

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glendale Prep Academy). They took down the Highland Prep West HORNETS 62-46 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Griffins as they're now sitting on four straight.

Glendale Prep Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Lincoln, who picked up 146 receiving yards and three scores, and also rushed for 121 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Lincoln is becoming a predictor of the Griffins' success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Another signal caller making a difference was Joshua McHale, who threw for 411 yards and six TDs while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt.

Glendale Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Highland Prep West, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
