Basketball Recap: Hamshire-Fannett's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hamshire-Fannett had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Krum Bobcats by a score of 58-51. The win was all the more spectacular given the Longhorns' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 518th, while the Bobcats are ranked 226th).

The victory got Hamshire-Fannett back to even at 10-10. As for Krum, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Hamshire-Fannett and Seminole will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Krum, they will venture away from home to take on Lake Worth at 3:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
