Football Preview: Scranton Knights vs. North Pocono Trojans        
        
		
             The Scranton Knights and the North Pocono Trojans are set to duel  on Friday. Scranton is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
 Last Friday, Scranton got the win against Wallenpaupack Area  by a conclusive  31-7. Considering the Knights have won four contests by more than 20  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Scranton got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Brody Coyle out in front who threw for 174 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown.  Memphis Shotto was another key pass catcher, picking up 133 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, North Pocono was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They took  a  21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Valley View. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings  (they are ranked 321st, while the Cougars are ranked 136th).
 Scranton's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for North Pocono, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
 Scranton didn't have too much breathing room in their  matchup against North Pocono  when the teams last played  back in September of 2023, but they still walked away with  a  33-27 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Scranton since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
