Baseball Recap: South Pike Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for South Pike's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 18-0 to the Franklin County Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

South Pike now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Franklin County, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Pike will face off against Natchez at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Franklin County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Port Gibson at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th.
