Spring Valley is headed out to face Southeast Career Tech after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Grizzlies claimed a resounding 67-12 victory over Chaparral. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Grizzlies had established a 40-point advantage.

Spring Valley better focus on containing Gianna Johnson-Jeffries and Liyah Elfberg as the pair were huge in Southeast Career Tech's win. Johnson-Jeffries posted 11 points and six steals, while Elfberg put up six points along with ten boards and four steals.
