Baseball Recap: Grove City Christian Gets the Win

Grove City Christian's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Fisher Catholic Irish. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Irish recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jeff Collins was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Patrick, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Grove City Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for Fisher Catholic, their record is now 4-13.

Grove City Christian has already played their next matchup (against Paint Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Fisher Catholic, they will be playing at home against Madison Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
