Basketball Recap: Dayspring Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Dayspring Christian Academy lost against Estes Park back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles came up short against the Estes Park Bobcats, falling 55-35.

Despite the defeat, Dayspring Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Max Krehbiel posted 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Mcclanahan, who had six points.

Dayspring Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. Estes Park's win bumped their record up to 11-12.

Coming up, Dayspring Christian Academy will face off against Crowley County on Friday. Crowley County will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Dayspring Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Estes Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
