Baseball Recap: Hancock Takes a Loss

Hancock fell victim to Oak Lawn and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 10-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Oak Lawn, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-11.

Coming up, Hancock will venture away from home to face off against Farragut at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Admirals have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Oak Lawn, they will be playing at home against Reavis at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rams will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
