Basketball Game Preview: Immanuel Christian Crusaders vs. Trona Tornadoes

The Immanuel Christian Crusaders will take on the Trona Tornadoes in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Immanuel Christian's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Trona has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

On Monday, Immanuel Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Kern Resource Center and fell 29-27.

Immanuel Christian might have lost, but man, Elliot TBD was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 boards.

Meanwhile, Trona came into Saturday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 39-34 W over Lee Vining on Saturday. The Tornadoes' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Immanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Trona, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Immanuel Christian strolled past Trona in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 58-40. Will Immanuel Christian repeat their success, or does Trona have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
