After a string of five wins, Mendon Unity's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Mendon Unity's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for ROWVA/Williamsfield, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Mendon Unity didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Quad Cities Christian on the 20th. As for ROWVA/Williamsfield, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Princeville on the 20th.
