Monte Vista and Mount Miguel are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Monarchs will venture away from home to take on the Matadors at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Monte Vista came up short against Steele Canyon on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Monarchs haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
