Soccer Recap: Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the St. John Paul II Catholic Lions, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Heroes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 178th, while the Lions are ranked 45th).

Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for St. John Paul II Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Phoenix Christian the next time they take the pitch. Heritage Academy will head out to face Phoenix Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while St. John Paul II Catholic will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
