Byron won the last time they faced Northfield and things went their way on Monday too. The Bears snuck past the Raiders with a 60-55 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Northfield's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Mostad, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 16 points. Kate Sand was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Byron's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Northfield, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Byron won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Goodhue at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northfield, they will head out on the road to square off against Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
