Basketball Recap: Wright Find Success

Wright hadn't done well against Archbishop Rummel recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Wright narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Archbishop Rummel Raiders 60-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Wright has posted since January 6th.

Despite the loss, Archbishop Rummel still got an impressive performance from Jackson Cosentino, who went 9 for 16 on his way to 24 points. Those 24 points gave Cosentino a new career-high. Grant Latino was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Wright and bumps their season record up to 7-2. As for Archbishop Rummel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
