Basketball Recap: Hillhouse Takes a Loss

Hillhouse lost against Amity Regional back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hillhouse Academics were dealt a 62-32 loss at the hands of the Amity Regional Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Academics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Spartans are ranked 28th).

Hillhouse's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Amity Regional, they pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Hillhouse does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Amity Regional, they will face off against Hamden at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hamden will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Amity Regional surely won't give up without a fight.
