Basketball Recap: Hagerty Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Hagerty, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lake Mary Rams 64-62. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Asa Kohn continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 for 16 on his way to 23 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Lopez, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds.

Hagerty's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Lake Mary, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Hagerty won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lake Brantley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Brantley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3 points per game this season. As for Lake Mary, they will square off against Seminole at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
