Volleyball Recap: Davies Career & Tech Has No Trouble Against Block Island

The Davies Career & Tech Patriots earned a 3-1 victory over Block Island on Friday. The match marked the Patriots' most dominant win of the season so far.

Davies Career & Tech had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-12, 25-23, 25-21.

Davies Career & Tech is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Block Island, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Davies Career & Tech will face off against rival Mt. Hope at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Block Island is set to challenge their familiar foe North Providence at 12:30 p.m. on May 3. The game will give Block Island their first taste of in-conference action this season.
