Recap: Harker Eagles vs. Hill Falcons
The Harker Eagles pushed their score all the way to 64 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Hill on the road by a decisive 79-64 margin. While losing is never fun, Harker can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 453rd, while Hill is ranked 186th).
Harker's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Advay Monga, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Xing, who scored 15 points.
Harker now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Hill, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Harker will face off against Mt. Pleasant at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hill will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Evergreen Valley at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st.
