Recap: Grace Christian Academy Crusaders vs. St. Anne Cardinals
The Grace Christian Academy Crusaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. Their tough 55-35 defeat to St. Anne might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Grace Christian Academy in their matchups with St. Anne: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Grace Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Noah Bisping, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Chris Link continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Anne, scoring 17 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Link has scored at least 25% of St. Anne's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Davis, who scored 8 points along with 7 assists and 6 steals.
Grace Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for St. Anne, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian Academy will take on Grant Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Grant Park has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for St. Anne, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Wilmington at 1:30 p.m. Hopefully Wilmington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
