North Haven won the last time they faced Sacred Heart Academy and things went their way on Monday too. North Haven blew past Sacred Heart Academy 18-1.

Kyla Champagne made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Champagne was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Alyssa Ferriouolo and Alexandra Anquillare did most of the damage at the plate: Ferriouolo went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Anquillare went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI Anquillare has posted since back in April of 2024. Alyssa DiGiovanna was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

North Haven now has a winning record of 2-1.

They will have a chance to go back-to-back against Sacred Heart Academy: the pair will be back at it again later today.
