Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whiteford). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Central Academy Falcons 84-22. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Falcons are ranked 560th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Whiteford is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Central Academy, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Whiteford will have a chance to go back-to-back against Central Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
