Baseball Recap: Weldon Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Weldon's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Warren County Eagles on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Weldon's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Warren County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for another result: Warren County was given a victory via forfeit against Weldon later that day.
