Recap: Donna North Chiefs vs. Pace Vikings
This season hasn't been kind to the Donna North Chiefs, who are still winless after their 23rd game. They took a 41-26 bruising from Pace on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Donna North in their matchups with Pace: they've now lost six in a row.
Pace's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andie Lozano-lomeli, who scored four points along with 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carolina Vasquez, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Donna North's defeat was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-23. As for Pace, their win bumped their record up to 7-21.
Donna North will head out on the road to face off against Donna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pace, they will be playing at home against Edcouch-Elsa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Edcouch-Elsa is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
