You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Sickles on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Spoto Spartans out of the water with an 89-12 final score. The Gryphons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Sickles was led to victory by Kelsey Sharpe and Jadyn Watts. Sharpe dropped a triple-double on 37 points, ten assists, and 15 steals, while Watts went 16 of 23 en route to 36 points along with six steals and five boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Watts has scored at least a third of Sickles' points. Luciana Rojas was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Sickles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

Sickles' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Spoto, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sickles will challenge Durant at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sickles is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season. As for Spoto, they will head out to take on King at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
