There's no place like home for McLaurin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They breezed past the Richland Rangers to the tune of 60-31 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now won three in a row.

Leading McLaurin to victory were Trent White and TY Williams. White dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards, while Williams almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Williams a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaac Davidson, who posted nine points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks.

The win got McLaurin back to even at 1-1. As for Richland, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

McLaurin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-47 defeat against Jim Hill on the 8th. As for Richland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 67-22 loss against Pelahatchie on the 11th.
