Blanchard put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the Ardmore Tigers at home to the tune of 56-20. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 27 points or more this season.
Blanchard got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hudsen Periman out in front who threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Brayson Carter also helped out as he racked up 111 receiving yards.
Blanchard wouldn't let Ardmore keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Carter was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance.
Blanchard's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Ardmore, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
A feisty cat fight will be fought when Lions takes on Tuttle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 854 yards in their previous games. As for Ardmore, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bethany at 7:00 p.m.
