Football Recap: Northern Durham Knights vs. Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans
After flying high against Triangle Math & Science two weeks ago, Northern Durham came back down to earth. The Knights took a blow against the Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Spartans on Friday, falling 66-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost four in a row.
Southern School of Energy and Sustainability was led to victory by Kamari Holloway and Jonathan Dillon. Holloway rushed for 158 yards and three TDs on only nine carries, while Dillon gained 278 total yards and a touchdown. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Holloway a new career-high.
