Basketball Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside lost against Pulaski Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Westside Warriors had to suffer through a 70-36 loss at the hands of the Pulaski Academy Bruins. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Bruins are ranked ninth).

Westside dropped their record down to 9-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pulaski Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 24-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westside will welcome Gosnell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westside is facing Gosnell at the right time seeing as Gosnell is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pulaski Academy, they will take on Morrilton at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
