Soccer Recap: Mt. Vernon Comes Up Short

The Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets lost 9-1 to the Pickerington Central Tigers on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Mt. Vernon were already down 4-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Mt. Vernon and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Pickerington Central, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, Mt. Vernon will face off against Zanesville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pickerington Central, they will square off against Logan at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Pickerington Central's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
