Baseball Recap: Bluffton Victorious

While Bluffton's win against South Adams wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Starfires 7-5. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Starfires recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Bluffton's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Williams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Williams a new career-high.

Bluffton's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for South Adams, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Bluffton will take on Southern Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for South Adams, they will venture away from home to take on Coldwater at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
