Recap: Terry Bulldogs vs. Forest Hill Patriots
The Terry Bulldogs lost against the Forest Hill Patriots back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Terry took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Forest Hill.
Terry's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Jones, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Jones is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Marleya Myers was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Terry were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Terry's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Forest Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Terry won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lanier at 2:00 p.m. on December 16th. Lanier is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Forest Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Yazoo City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
