Basketball Recap: Fayetteville Street Christian Comes Up Short

Fayetteville Street Christian lost against Abundant Life Christian Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fayetteville Street Christian Patriots fell to the Abundant Life Christian Academy Knights 41-36.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Abundant Life Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Max Capote, who went 7 of 17 to rack up 15 points. What's more, Capote also racked up two assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Emanuel Camacho was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Fayetteville Street Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Abundant Life Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

As of now, neither Fayetteville Street Christian nor Abundant Life Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
