Football Recap: Arbor View Beats Rancho for Their Fourth Straight Win

Arbor View had won three straight games and Priscilla Garcia did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Arbor View Aggies simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rancho Rams 43-0 thanks in part to Garcia, who threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 10-for-10 passing, and also rushed for 32 yards and one touchdown. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in passer rating (177.1).

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Arbor View's defense and their five sacks. Karah Foss was especially locked on to Rancho's QB and sacked her three times.

Arbor View is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.2 points per game. As for Rancho, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Arbor View and Rancho's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Arbor View will square off against Bishop Gorman at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, a squad that's only allowed 14.45 points per game. Arbor View will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak dating back to last season alive. Meanwhile, Rancho and Chaparral (who has only given up 14.3 points per game) will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
