Basketball Game Preview: Los Lunas Tigers vs. West Mesa Mustangs

Los Lunas has won five straight games at home, while West Mesa has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Los Lunas Tigers will host the West Mesa Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Los Lunas picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They secured a 56-50 W over West Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, West Mesa escaped with a win on Saturday against Highland by the margin of a single free throw, 64-63.

West Mesa has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Los Lunas, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.
