Volleyball Recap: East Providence Wins High-Profile Match Against Coventry

East Providence faced Coventry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Townies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Oakers.

The win didn't come easy: Coventry scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19, 25-22.

The victory got East Providence back to even at 2-2. As for Coventry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

As for Coventry, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Cranston East on the 10th.
