Baseball Game Preview: Glenpool Warriors vs. Del City Eagles

The Glenpool Warriors will take on the Del City Eagles in a tournament on Thursday. Glenpool has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 7th.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Glenpool and Pryor, and Pryor kept the tradition alive. The Warriors lost 17-2 to the Tigers on Tuesday.

Glenpool saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mang Dal, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Mason Romero also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Del City came up short against Minco on Tuesday, falling 15-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Kaiden Wiley made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base.

Del City's loss dropped their record down to 8-25. As for Glenpool, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-22.
