Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Amador Valley). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Dublin Gaels an 18-0 shutout on Thursday. With that win, the Dons brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Lauren Tran made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Tran was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in June of 2024.

In other pitching news, Kaylee Davis looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Coming up, Amador Valley will challenge San Ramon Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
