Basketball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

Quitman was the 52-43 winner over Winona when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Quitman Bulldogs lost 56-31 to the Winona Wildcats on Monday. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Quitman's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Winona, their win ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12.

Quitman will head out to square off against Eustace at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Winona, they will take on Edgewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
