Basketball Game Preview: Prairie Grove Tigers vs. Gravette Lions

Prairie Grove and Gravette are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Prairie Grove Tigers take on the Gravette Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Prairie Grove's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Gravette has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Prairie Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Berryville 77-46 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Gravette was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 52-48 to Shiloh Christian.

Prairie Grove is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Gravette, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
