Montoursville and Wellsboro are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2021, but likely not for long. The Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Hornets at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Montoursville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

On Wednesday, neither Montoursville nor Hughesville could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

The Warriors' goal came courtesy of Simon Dietrich, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Wellsboro's game on Thursday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Williamson 3-2. Wellsboro haven't had any issues with Williamson recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Wellsboro's lineup was just a bit different on Thursday as Karter Campbell got a bit more time on the pitch (67 vs. his season average of 21.8). Campbell made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

With that draw, Montoursville's record moves to 13-0-3. As for Wellsboro, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1.
