He is becoming a predictor of Mishawaka Marian's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 7-15 when he doesn't).
In other pitching news, Eric Unwin looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
Back at the plate, Jack Nunley was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ryne O'Hara, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Mishawaka Marian's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Mishawaka, their loss dropped their record down to 15-10.
